PrestoStats Access FAQ

What is PrestoStats?
PrestoStats is a stats data entry software solution for college athletics. The solution supports ten (10) competitive athletic sports and provides real-time updates and extensive reports. Usability is a key with PrestoStats as it uses familiar keystrokes, mouse or touch screen to enter play details. The system is web-based, which allows users to access the system through Windows or Mac computers or tablets. The web-based platform works offline and is available as a post-game scoresheet entry system for all stats not compiled in-game. Additionally, PrestoStats includes access to Advanced Reports, an application that allows you to filter and sort reports to easily view on a mobile device or print.

Do I still have access to PrestoStats?
Beginning Aug. 1, 2019, PrestoStats will only be available to clients who have purchased the software. Additionally, members of the following will continue to receive access to PrestoStats through their organization-wide agreements.

All PrestoWeb clients have access to scoresheet entry mode. Live scoring mode access has to be purchased separately.

Will my entire team still be able to access PrestoStats?
Yes, you will be able to add multiple user profiles in order to access PrestoStats.

What changed in how I access PrestoStats?
PrestoStats access is now granted through your email account instead of via a website. These are internal changes and you will continue to access PrestoStats through the CMS.

I should have PrestoStats access but I no longer see it available. Who should I contact?
Please contact our Support team for assistance. They will be able to confirm if your organization has purchased PrestoStats access for this school year or if your organization is a member of one of the associations that has purchased PrestoStats for all their members.

My school or organization purchased PrestoStats, and I am hosting a tournament or neutral-site event. Can I use it for games not involving my program?
Yes, if you purchased a license for PrestoStats, you can use it for events as needed. However, you will need to contact our Support team to gain access to participant RPIs.

What features will no longer be available if I do not have access to PrestoStats?
For anyone who has not purchased PrestoStats or is not a member of one of the organizations that has purchased PrestoStats access for their members, two features will no longer appear when you sign into the PrestoSports CMS. The first is the Launch PrestoStats button, accessed through the event details page, and the second is the Advanced Reports button, accessed through the stats tab within a season.

I have a PrestoSports website but will be using another provider for entering stats. How will these changes impact me?
If you have a PrestoSports website, these changes will not impact your ability to display live stats on your site using other stats software, upload stats files into the network or share them with other vendors through Stat Partners. However, without PrestoStats access, you will not be able to make edits to any uploaded stat files. You will need to make the changes using your stats software, then upload the corrected version.

Can I still purchase PrestoStats?
Yes, you can easily purchase the software via credit card or purchase order through our online store. This page will show the different pricing options for PrestoStats. If you are an existing client and need to be invoiced for your purchase of PrestoStats you can request an invoice by contacting your assigned Client Success Manager.
