Stripe Receipt FAQ

When a viewer purchases a Pay Per View event Stripe (our payment processor) will issue a receipt with your organization’s name on it since it’s coming from your Stripe Account.

Remove Phone and change Email Contact Info from Receipts.

As a default, Stripe displays both on receipts, here’s how or change that.

If you need to navigate from the homepage https://dashboard.stripe.com/dashboard start on

  1. Sign into your Stripe account at

  2. Go to "Settings" (upper right, gear icon). 

  3. Click on "Business" then the "Business details" tab. 

  4. Find the "Public Details" section and click "Edit". 

  5. You should have a pop up now called “Add Public Descriptor Details”

  6. Under the Customer Support section you can change “Show phone number on receipts and invoices”.

  7. Change your “Customer Support Email” to a more general email address within your organization
