Creating Dropdown Menus on the Global Navbar
Go to the Website tab
Click add here on the right side of the page
Select navbar: text as the content type and click Continue
Name the file navbar-text with the text including something related to the menu item you are linking it to. For example if you are creating a dropdown menu for Fan Zone you could name the file navbar-fanzone. It doesn't have to follow that naming convention, but it makes it easier to find the file linked to that menu item. After you name the file click Continue
Enter the text in the Label field that you want to display in the dropdown menu. Copy and paste the link you want to link the text to in the Target URL field or click the grey box next to that field to pull up the file selector and select the internal page to link it to.
Click Add to add more menu items in the dropdown menu. Once you are done click Save Changes.
Go to the file that powers the global navbar in the Website tab and click edit content. That file is usually named navbar-global, navbar-global-redesign, or navbar-global-new. You can also access that file by going to the Website tab, right click View on the right side of the page and select open link in new tab, and then click the Edit button next to the global navbar on the front end of the website.
In the Target URL field for the menu item you are adding the dropdown menu to enter #. If the Secondary URL field isn't displaying click Show Secondary URL. In that field you will enter the URL path for the navbar file you created. For example if the navbar file you created was named navbar-fanzone the URL path for that file would be /navbar-fanzone. Once you're done entering that information click Save Changes and then refresh the front end of the website to see the dropdown menu display.
