Headlines

A Headlines content type can be used to create news pages, rosters, photo albums, photo galleries, video galleries, etc. In most instances, these are set up for you through the Game day tab in season setup , however, these are the steps to add a headlines content-type:

Instructions

1. Sign in

2. Click on the Website tab

3. Navigate to the appropriate Sport and Season or appropriate section

4. Click [add here] to the right under Options

5. From the content type drop-down menu, select headlines

6. Name the file (news, "roster", "index", etc.)

7. Give the headlines a title (this is what will appear on your site)
   Note: News headlines do not need a Date or Lead-in

8. Click Continue

9. From the Pages allowed drop down menu, select the type of files that correspond with the headlines. The default is Everything. Here are the Pages allowed you should select for different headlines files:
   News- Articles, links, HTML, PDFs, video, marketplace
   Roster- Bios
   Photo Album- Images
   Photo Gallery- Headlines
   Video Gallery- Videos

10. From the Sorting drop down menu, select Page date

11. Click Save Settings

12. Click Save Changes

13. You can now feature files to the Headlines file you just created
