Standings: manual
You can use these instructions to create a standings file on the website that you manage manually. This allows you to add/remove teams, input records, and adjust the order the teams display.
Instructions
Sign in to your site and click on the Website tab
Click on the sports section
Click on the appropriate sport section (ex: mbkb)
Click on the appropriate season section (ex: 2023-24)
Click [add here] to the right under Options
In the “Content Type” drop down menu, select “Standings: manual”
Click “Continue”
Name the file “standings”
Add a title (ex: Conference Name Men’s Basketball Standings 2023-24)
Click Continue at the bottom of the page
Select the “Standings” option then check the Overall, Conference, and Wins/losses/ties boxes
Click “Set fields”
Click “Manage Teams”
In the “Add manual team record” field, add a team name and click “Add”
You can also copy/paste a URL from a team’s schedule page into the Add team from schedule field to set it up to automatically update.
Repeat step #14 and #15 until all team names have been added
Click “Save changes”
Add the appropriate numbers to each text field
Click “Edit tiebreaker” to add sorting rules
Select the sorting rule in the drop down and click "Add"
Repeat until you've added all of the sorting rules that you want to apply
Drag and drop the rules to change the order each rule applies
Click "Save changes"Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page to finalize creating the file
