How to Send a Push Notification

Is there a notification limit?
With the PrestoMobile platform your admin team can send out as many notifications as you’d like to. We typically recommend sending 2-5 a week so that your users become familiar with the app, but also limiting it to 5 so that it doesn’t become too much communication.
Notification Groups
When sending notifications, you can choose to send notifications to every user on the app or you can target a specific group of people. By default every app has the option to send to the following groups:
Everyone who attended a specific event
Everyone who unlocked a specific award
Everyone who purchased a specific prize
Everyone who attended specific sports (tags)
People based on points levels
People who registered in a certain window
You have the option to create custom user groups by clicking on Settings in the admin dashboard and then click Custom Groups. From here you can import an Excel or CSV file with the users' information. To create the group select the file from your computer and then click Import. You will then be prompted to name the group, which is how they will be identified in the groups area of Notifications.
