PrestoStats Automated Scorebug for PrestoStream Studio

Product Overview:

The PrestoStats Automated Scorebug supplies you with a high quality scorebug that is fed by your live stats. As long as you have access to stat the game you can log in for the link for each game by following these instructions. We’ve built in access to different stats depending on the sport. For instance Baseball will give you the count, who is on base and how many outs. Football gives you the down and distance and who has possession.

We’re hoping this delivers two benefits for our clients.

1. Automate the scorebug to free you up during streams.
   Automating the task allows you to spend more time on other areas of your broadcast such as adding commercials, sponsor graphics and highlighting your athletes.
   

2. Increase the production value of your stream.
   An accurate, great looking scorebug increases the production value of your streams.

Update Notes:

Update: You can now select the color for each team by clicking an empty spot in the box, then click on the color selector or enter your hex.
You can change the teams' display name by clicking on it
(Once you do either of these you will notice the url changes.)

Where to find your Automated Scorebug link

1. Log in to your website or designated Presto Stats login page.

2. Access the season

3. Click on the date/time of the game.
   

   

4. Focus on the top right of the following Event Page. Previously the Launch Prestostats button sat alone, there is now a Launch Scorebug button as well that opens a new tab in your browser for the scorebug.

5. Customize Colors

1. Click an empty space next to the name

2. Use the slider and color picker to select color, cannot paste a hex yet

3. Press OK to update, URL will change

6. Customize Names (not available on football)

1. Click on either team name.

2. A pop-up in your browser should appear. Adjust the name, click OK. URL will update.

6. Now that your colors and team names are updated you can copy the url in the address bar or to bring it into your streaming encoder.

Before and after the event you’ll notice the fields may go blank or disappear, this is normal.

Adding to PrestoStream Studio

It’s best to have your scorebug in it’s own WINDOW, not another tab in your active browser. This is because you need it to stay open in the background.

1. In Presto Stream Studio add a “Window Capture” source.

2. Select either a New or Existing Window Capture.

3. Find your browser window from the list of sources, you should be set!

Resizing or Moving the Scorebug

To resize the scorebug simply click and drag a corner (you’ll see squares in each corner) to the desired size. You can move the scorebug freely by clicking and dragging from inside the box.

Cropping the Scorebug

On Windows: Hold alt while clicking on a corner to crop out parts of the scorebug.

On Mac: Hold options while clicking on a corner to crop out parts of the scorebug.
