Creating championship pages

You have the ability to create webpages to display information related to conference championship events. Here are instructions for creating those pages:

  1. Go to the Website tab

  2. Create a section within the root directory to store these pages. I would recommend naming it something like championships or tournaments. You can find instructions for creating sections here.

  3. Within the section you create you should create a subsection for each sport (ex. mbkb, wsoc, wvball, etc.)

  4. Click on a sports subsection and then click add here on the right side of the page

  5. Under Content type select article: rich and click Continue

  6. In the Name field put the school year (ex. 2024-25)

  7. In the Title put the name of the event (2024-25 Conference Name Sport Name Championship(s)

  8. Click Continue at the bottom of the page

  9. In the text editor, add in the content of your page. Similar to a word document, you can add images, tables, style, etc. by clicking the buttons in the toolbar at the top of the text editor. Here’s more information about the different options available to you in the toolbar

  10. Click Save Changes to finalize creating the page

  11. After you have created the page you can edit the content by hovering your mouse over the file name and click edit content. If you need to adjust the filename, title, etc. you can do that by hovering your mouse over the file name and click edit details.

  12. If you want this page to be accessible by people viewing the website you will need to connect it to navigation menus on the website. You can do that by reviewing the articles from this page.

You can find more information about creating general webpages on this Help Center page.

Another option for these pages would be to create a championships microsite. You can find an example of one of those pages on Themes 2.0 here.

If you’re interested in having that feature added to your website, you will need to contact your assigned Customer Success Manager. If you don’t know who your Customer Success Manager is you can find their contact information by going to the Resource Center, click Explore Resources, and then click Contact Your Customer Success Manager. If that option doesn’t appear for you, then you can contact our Support team and they will get you into contact with your Customer Success Manager.
