Stripe Payment Processing for Pay Per View Streams
On July 15th 2024 our payment processing for viewer purchases will be changing to Stripe.
After careful consideration and thorough research, we've decided to switch our Prestostream platform to integrate with Stripe. Earlier this year you may have seen that we switched PrestoCamps and Online Forms over successfully. This decision was made with the goal of providing you with a smoother, more secure, and more streamlined payment experience. It is our goal to have everyone migrated over to the Stripe integration by July 15th, 2024.
Here are a few key benefits you can expect from this transition:
New Landing Page: Our current stream landing page (portals) are going away. If you’re directing viewers to portal.stretchinternet.com you will see that start to forward to a new page design around July 15th. At this point only Stripe payments will be accepted. The new design will load faster and allow logo and header image uploads (upload is active right now).
Receive Funds Within A Day!: You will also now have access to the funds as purchases happen instead of waiting for bi-annual payments which were generally done in January and July. They will be split and moved into your account on a per purchase basis.
Real-Time Insights: With Stripe's comprehensive reporting and analytics tools, you'll have access to real-time insights into your PPV transactions.
Seamless Payment Experience: With Stripe, you'll enjoy a seamless payment experience from start to finish. Our Embedded Video Player has been updated to include Stripe on its payment screen. This will not reflect a change to existing viewers.
Enhanced Security: Security is paramount when it comes to handling payments. With Stripe's advanced security features, including built-in fraud prevention tools and compliance with industry standards, you can rest assured that your fans and customer’s payment information will be fully protected.
Expanded Payment Options: Stripe supports a wide range of payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and digital wallets. This means your customers have more flexibility in how you choose to pay for your services.

Once you have your Stripe login information, please link that account to ours by doing the following:
Link your Stripe Account to PrestoSports to receive your revenue share.
Navigate to EP Support Tools > Features, click on the “Link Stripe Account” button under Payments
You’ll be navigated to Stripe to sign in and approve the link
PrestoSports will finish the process on our end within 48 hours
