Record Books

Our Record Books product gives you the ability to upload season stats from 3rd party stats programs, or to import stats from PrestoStats to build out record books for your school/team. If you are interested in purchasing this product you can contact your assigned Client Success Manager. If you don’t know who that person is, you can get their contact information from the Resource Center or you can contact our Support team here. Uploading stats to update Record Books

1. Go to the Record Books website and login with your PrestoSports login credentials

2. For users that have access to multiple teams you can select the team from that dropdown. If you only have access to one team that dropdown menu won’t display.

3. To upload stats for a season select the sport from the sport dropdown

4. Click Manage Season XML on the right side of the page

5. This will pull up a list of all seasons your team has been added to in the Presto CMS. If any seasons aren’t showing that you need access to, please contact our Support team using this form with a request for those seasons to be added.

6. Click on the kebab menu next to the season which will present you with two different options for uploading the stats for that season:
   Upload XML- You will use this option if you are uploading a season XML file from a third-party stats program. Click on that button, select the file from your computer, and then click Upload to upload that XML file.
   
   Pull from PrestoStats- You will use this option if your stats have been uploaded to events in the season you have selected. Click on that button to import those stats directly from the Presto CMS.
   

7. It will take a couple of seconds for the import to process. Once completed you will be redirected back to the Season XML upload page. From there you can continue importing/uploading season XML files for that sport or select a different sport from the sport dropdown menu to start importing/uploading files for that sport.

Notes

• The season XML upload page will include timestamps showing when the last season XML file was uploaded, so you can track when the stats for a season were last updated. You can also click on the History button to see who uploaded stats for each season and a timestamp of when the stats were updated.

• Each report will show a date of when the report was last updated. This will also display the range of seasons that have stats uploaded for the report.

Download Record Books Reports

For non-PrestoWeb clients you will be able to download the record books in HTML and PDF formats to upload and link out on your website. PrestoWeb clients will have the ability to have this page generated automatically on your website in the future, but for now you will also need to download these files to upload them and link them out on your website.

1. Go to the Record Book website and login with your PrestoSports login credentials

2. Select the sport from the sport dropdown

3. Select the report type

4. Click on the corresponding button to download the HTML or PDF file of that report:
   

   

5. Go to your website, upload the file, and then link it out to your website navigation

Adding notes to stats categories

1. Go to the Record Book website and login with your PrestoSports login credentials

2. Select the sport from the sport dropdown

3. Click on settings on the left side of the page

4. Click on Fields

5. Click on the tab for the type of stats you want to add notes to (Player or Team)

6. Enter the notes in the High Notes field for notes related to the highest ranked players within a stats category. Enter the notes in the Low Notes field for notes related to the lowest numbers within a stats category.

7. Click Save Stats at the bottom of the page

8. You can now view reports to see the updated notes

Adjusting stats categories that show within reports

1. Go to the Record Book website and login with your PrestoSports login credentials

2. Select the sport from the sport dropdown

3. Click on settings on the left side of the page

4. Click on Fields

5. Under Show High and Show Low if the radio button is red that means that stats category will display. If the button is gray that means it is hidden. Click on the radio button to hide or unhide a stats category.

6. Click Save Stats

7. You can now view reports to see the stats categories that are now hidden or visible again
