Schedule Archives

The "schedule-archive" navbar allows you to add an archives drop down to your schedule pages to view older schedules.

These instructions are only used for sites on our Legacy and Themes 1.0 platforms. Any website on the Themes 2.0 platform will have this dropdown menu automatically created after any roster page is created through season setup in GameDay. If you aren’t sure if your website is on the Themes 2.0 platform, you can check that by going to the Website tab, click on the Setup subtab, click Site profile, and search for Themes 2.0 on that page within the Features tab. If you don’t see Themes 2.0 on that page that means your site is either on the Legacy and Themes 1.0 platform.

 Instructions

To create a new schedule archive dropdown:

  1. Sign into your site and click on the Website tab

  2. Click on the “sports” section

  3. Click on a specific sport section. Example “mbkb” for men’s basketball

  4. Click on “add here” located in the column on the right

  5. From the “content type” drop down menu, select “Nav bar: text” and click continue

  6. In the Name field, you have to name this exactly “navbar-schedule-archive” and click continue

  7. In the Label field type the year for the schedule. In the target URL, type in the path for that year's schedule. Example: /sports/mbkb/2023-24/schedule would be the URL path for the 2023-24 men’s basketball schedule. You can also use the "..." button to browse your site for that link by finding the sports section, season section, click change, and then click on the schedule file in that section.

  8. Click the add button at the bottom of the page to add more links

  9. Click the “Save changes” button

  10. The dropdown will now automatically appear on your schedule page for that specific sport
