BUTT is an easy to use, multi OS streaming tool. It supports SHOUTcast and Icecast and runs on Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.The main purpose of butt is to stream live audio data from your computers Mic or Line input to an Shoutcast or Icecast server. Recording is also possible. It is NOT intended to be a server by itself or automatically stream a set of audio files.

Click on Settings to open the Settings Button on the right side of the main interface

From there, you will see a secondary window popup (see below).

Under the Main Tab, select the ADD button below the Server section.Under the Add Server section, you will fill out the fields with the following:

The IceCast mountpoint box will be something you will get from us here at Stretch. 

***Please make sure to hit the ADD button after you will out this form***

The next step is to add the audio source you are using to bring audio into the program. This will bring you back to the main Settings tab 

Click on the Audio tab and select your device in the Audio Device drop down. This could be a USB mixer, line in, etc.

In addition, you will want to fill out the other fields with the following:

Once all the fields are completed, you will see the main interface and should see the levels coming from your audio device.

To start the broadcast, you will hit the play button (not the red record button).
