Using Vidiu To Stream to PrestoSports
The Teradek Vidiu is heralded for being one of the simplest ways to stream in the industry. As long as you have a camera and an internet connection, you can send out a high-quality stream with this magic little box!
Interface

Before we get started, we'd like to point out a few key aspects of the Vidiu interface.
Start/Stop Joystick (A) - Click this red button when you're ready to start your stream.
Menu Joystick (B) - This will be your primary method for opening and navigating the menu. Click this button to open the menu and the joystick up, down, left or right to navigate. You will also click the menu button in to make selections.
Connect to the Internet
As you can see in the image above, there are three ways to connect to the internet with the Vidiu: Plug in 3G/4G USB modem, Connect an Ethernet cable or Connect via Wifi. You should be prompted to connect to the internet when your unit is powered on. If you ever want to check or adjust your connection, click the Menu button and scroll down to Network Settings. Once there, you can configure or manipulate your connections and run a speed test (located under "Tools").
Video Input
Simplicity is the name of the game so the Vidiu has a single HDMI input located on the back. Simply plug in your camera feed and you're good to go!
Audio Inputs
The VidiU can bring audio in from the HDMI port or the Mic/Line port. The audio will typically default to HDMI so you will need to switch it if you're using a line in. To adjust your audio source, click the menu button and scroll down to "Audio Settings." Once there, select "Source" and choose between HDMI, Analog (Mic/Line Input) or Disabled.
Broadcast Settings
While your VidiU should come with all of your broadcast settings pre loaded, you may need to adjust your Video Channel, RTMP address or Bitrate at some point. To do so, open the "Broadcast Settings" menu and refer to the information below:
How to Change the Channel:
Select "Setup" (located at the bottom of the Broadcast Settings screen).
Click on stream.
Adjust as needed.
How to Change the RTMP Address:
Select "Setup" (located at the bottom of the Broadcast Settings screen).
Click on the url (should start with rtmp://).
Adjust as needed.
How to Change the Bitrate:
Scroll down to the "Quality" option - select Custom.
This will bring up your quality settings - select Custom from that menu as well.
You should now see an option that says "Choose Quality" where you will want to select Custom one more time.
Scroll down to "Vid BR". Select this and adjust bitrate as needed.
