Voting rules and enhancements

Administrators have the option to enable or disable the vote locking functionality rule. If enabled, a vote is automatically locked and a voter will not be able to change their submission without contacting the award administrator.

Vote Locking

Turn locking on/off

When creating/editing and award

The option to turn on/off locking rules is located on the setup voting step within the creation wizard

When editing and award

The option to turn on/off locking rules is located on the Edit Rules option when the award is in the pre-voting stage, after voting has started the rules cannot be edited.

When Copying

Turn on/off locking rules is located within the copy form

Lock/Unlock a vote

When a vote has been locked the voter will receive a warning saying that voting has been disabled. 

Administrators can lock and unlock votes from the voters tab in the award admin console.

Outlier Removal

Allows administrators to tell the awards system to remove the outliers from the results. You can find more information on outliers by reviewing this Help Center page.

Cast all votes enforcement 

Administrators can enable or disable this rule configuring and editing the voting rules for the award. Rules can only be edited if no votes have been casted.
