Adding a Player’s Bio (Used for rosters not managed through GameDay tab)

Before you start creating bios, you will need to create the roster page. You can do that by following the instructions on this page.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your website

2. Click on the Website tab

3. Navigate to the appropriate sport and season sections

4. Click on the bios section

5. Click [add here] to the right under Options

6. From the content type drop down menu, select bio: manual

7. Enter the player’s first and last name in both the Name and Title fields

8. From the Featured in headlines drop-down menu, select the headlines file (roster page) you want to connect them to and click “Add”. The default name for roster pages is /sports/SPORT/SEASON/roster, but if it was a file you manually created it will have a different filename.

9. Click Continue

10. Enter content into the appropriate fields

11. Click the button next to the headshot field to add the players headshot

12. In the text editor, add in the content of the bio synopsis.

13. Click Save changes
