Phase 2: Configuring Presto Sync (The Final Steps)

Now that the Genius IAU is successfully generating a live XML file on your computer, you need to tell PrestoSync where to find it so it can send the data to StatView.

Step 1: Open Presto Sync

  • Launch the PrestoSync application on your scoring computer. (If you do not have Presto Sync installed, please contact PrestoSports Support for the download link).

Step 3: Point PrestoSync to the IAU Folder

  • In the Presto Sync settings, locate the File Path or Input Directory field.

  • Click Browse and navigate to the exact folder on your computer where the Genius IAU is saving the live XML file (this is the folder you set up in Phase 1).

  • Note: PrestoSync will continuously monitor the folder. Every time the Genius IAU updates the XML file (after a play is entered), Presto Sync will automatically grab the new file and push it to StatView.

Step 2: Verify the Data is Flowing

  • As you enter the first few plays in NCAA Live Stats, check the PrestoSync window. You should see a timestamp updating, confirming that the file has been successfully sent to the PrestoSports server.
