Tournaments
The Tournaments feature is used to create a tournament that will display on schedule pages. This is used to group events from a tournament together the page. This will add a label to those events and these events can be displayed on both the host’s Presto website, as well as other teams' websites that are participating in the network.
To be able to create a tournament you have to have access to all of the participating teams in GameDay. If you haven’t already requested and been granted that access by our Support team, you can do that by contacting them here.
Go to the GameDay tab
Navigate to the season and the click on the Schedule tab
Click on the tournaments button
This will open the Tournaments area in a new tab. Click New Tournament to start setting up a tournament
Enter the name of the tournament in the Tournament name field
Enter the start and end dates for the events in the tournament and then click Next
Under Find Events all events entered into the network for all teams in the season will display. Check the box next to each event you want to connect to the tournament. You can either look through each page, or use the filter icon to filter events to those specific team. Once the events have been selected, click Next
In the last section it will ask you to confirm the events you want to add to the tournament. If you need to make changes to those events, click the Back button at the bottom of the page. If all of the events have been added, click Create Tournament to finish creating the tournament
After the tournament has been created, it will take you back to the Tournament page. From there you can click on the menu next to the tournament to view events, edit details, manage events, or delete the tournament. Note: You will be able to view all tournaments created by other users in that season, but you won’t have access to edit them unless your user profile is connected to the client account that created the tournament.
For these events to display on the schedule page on your website, you will need to have the “Show All Tournament Events” option enabled in season setup. To display the tournament label, you will need to have the “Hide Tournament Labels” option disabled in that same area:
