Adding RTMP or RTSP Sources - PrestoStream Studio

This guide is to add network camera sources into PrestoStream Studio. Cameras that are accessible through network should use this method including PTZ, Pixellot, Hudl or other AI Camera systems.

1. Find the Sources menu within the Docks at the bottom of the program. Click “Add”.

2. Select “Media Source”

If you are missing the Sources panel, add it from the top left menu under “Docks”

3. Choose to create a New or use an Existing Source
4. In the Properties window uncheck “Local File” (This is used to add a local video file, like an .mp4)
5. In “Input” add the url of your camera source. This can be RTMP or RTSP.
6. In “Input Format” repeat the protocol (RTMP or RTSP) from your Input url.

Want to hide a source? There’s an eye icon to the left of the lock. In this state with a slash through it viewers will not see the source.

If you’d like to hide a source after adding, there is an Eye icon just to the left of the lock. In this state the source is not visible.
