Can I stream to another service with the software?

Yes. We, like most companies (Including YouTube and Facebook) use RTMP streaming. So, there are options to stream to a wide variety of sources or input a custom address. Keep in mind that most contracts have an exclusivity agreement to not share streams to other platforms, reach out to your assigned Client Success Manager if you are interested in streaming to another service as well as ours.

Can I Connect to Synergy(Keemotion), Pixellot or Hudl Cameras?

Yes. In most cases these are network cameras that are brought in via RTMP, RTSP or IP address. Once you have the address of the camera consult the following article:

What is the difference between standard OBS and PrestoStream Studio?

PrestoStream Studio is based on OBS as a foundation for it’s efficiency and hardware compatibility. Currently the added features are Instant Replay, a Manual Scoreboard Entry add on, the ability to send to more than one destination and our Automated Scorebug from Presto Stats.

We will continue to integrate and automate processes specifically for our clients' needs in Sports Production.

Are there any Daktronics or other scoreboard Integrations?

There are not currently. However, if you’re using PrestoSync or sending us a copy of your live stats you will be able to take advantage of the Automated Scorebug that uses livestats inside of Presto Stats to create a scorebug with some stats as well.

Can I connect a phone or tablet as a wireless camera using NDI?

You can use Phones and Tablets with NDI on Android or iOS. You have a lot of options, here’s some that we’ve tried out.

If you are trying to connect a video camera wirelessly using NDI you will need a capture card that supports NDI. Here’s an example:

Can I use Dakstats, NCAA Genius or Stat Crew with the Automated Scorebug?

You will need to either send a copy to Presto Stats or use PrestoSync to send a copy in order for the Scorebug to update. We only have access to our own stats platform, so they must be sent here.

How do I remove a Green Screen from my source or from my Manual Scorebug?

Chroma Key can remove certain shades and is pre-programmed as bright green. In this article we outline how to add the Filter to a source.

What else can I do with my instant replays?

There is currently no option to share replays inside of the program. However, there is an option to save your replays with a hotkey in Settings>Hotkeys. This creates a file of the replay that can be shared wherever you would like.

As always, you’ll have an archive recorded if you’re streaming with PrestoSports that can be downloaded and cut for the same purpose after the event has ended and recorded.

When will updates come out for Studio, the Manual and the Automated Scorebugs?

Our help articles will contain updates as they arrive including a history of release information for all three. We will send additional notification for major releases so that you don’t have to go searching for those.
