Bulk Headshot Upload - Athlete Rosters

You have the ability to upload headshots in bulk within GameDay. In order to utilize the Bulk headshot upload feature, you must have the following:

1. Your site has player editor enabled. You can check to see if this is enabled by going to the Website tab, click on the Setup subtab, and then look under Features for Player editor. If it’s not listed there that means it’s not enabled. Contact our support team using this form to have it enabled.

2. The roster has already been set up through the season setup process.

3. In order to automatically match headshot images to roster bios, please use the following format to name your files: hs_firstname_lastname.jpg, hs_firstname_lastname.png.

Instructions

Steps to Upload in Bulk:

1. Sign into your website and navigate to the Game Day tab

2. Navigate to the season where you want to add headshots.

3. Click the Roster tab and click on Bios

4. Click Import Headshots in the top right corner.

5. Name the album and click Upload Images.

6. Drag and drop your images to upload or browse and select images.

7. Click Done

8. All images are uploaded and a dropdown containing the roster appears above each image. The system will automatically default to the roster name if a matching file name was uploaded. Files that do not match a name from the roster will not be matched.

9. For images that are not matched to a roster name, you can select the name manually from the dropdown above the image or leave the Select a player message selected if you just want the image saved in the folder and not matched to a player.
   

   

10. Once you have confirmed all of your selections, click Save.

11. To view the images, return to the Roster tab. The thumbnail will show next to each player.

Video instructions:

Editing the headshot for an individual can still be managed in the same manner.
A) While viewing the Roster, click Edit next to the player.
B) Click Change under the image.
C) Select or upload the image and click OK to use it.

You can bulk upload and auto sync additional images to an existing album.
A) Click the Photos tab.
B) Click the title of the album where you want to add more images.
C) Click Add More Photos in the top right corner.
D) Repeat steps 5-10 above.

To edit which player an image is synced to
A) Click on the Photos tab.
B) Click Edit on the album where you want to make changes.
C) Repeat steps 8-10 above.
