Headlines Tab
Headlines are the files that are running your News Rotators (both on your home and sport pages), and the news page for each sport season. To access the Headlines tab:
Sign into your site and click into the Game day tab
Click on the appropriate season in the right-side panel. If you want to edit an out of season sport, click the "View All Seasons" bar at the top.
Click into the Headlines tab
Types of Headlines
When viewing the Headlines tab you are given the option to view the following three headlines.
SITE NAME headlines - This is the headlines that is featured on your site home page. This is your News Rotator and Featured News component (if activated on the website)
SPORT NAME headlines (default view) - This is the headlines that is featured on your sport's home page. This is your sports page News Rotator and Featured News component (if activated on the website)
SPORT SEASON news - This is this season specific news page for each sport. This is usually accessed through your secondary navigation and will list out the releases that are featured in to this headlines

Sorting Headlines
There are two ways to sort your headlines:
Auto sort - this will sort your headlines automatically by date
Manual sort - this will allow you to manually choose the order your releases appear. Drag and drop the releases or change the number next to each release and click "Update" at the bottom to save these changes.

To convert your the sorting method:
Select the headlines you would like to sort by clicking one of the following links at the top of this tab:
SITE NAME headlines
SPORT NAME headlines
SPORT SEASON news
All your headlines will default to auto sort, which sorts your releases by page date
Scroll to the bottom of the page and select either "Convert to manual sort" or "Convert to auto sort"
You will be shown the current order your releases appear next to the new order your releases will appear. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Convert to manual/auto sort" button to confirm this change
Emailing Headlines
While in the Headlines tab, select the headlines you would like to email by clicking one of the following links at the top of this tab:
SITE NAME headlines
SPORT NAME headlines
SPORT SEASON news
Click the [email] link in the upper right corner
Edit the Sender name, Sender email address, and Subject to your preferences
Select the recipients by adding email address in the To field or click View contact lists to select lists to send the email to
From the "Template" drop-down, choose the email template you would like to use. Templates will usually differ in the header graphic that is used for the newsletter
From the top 15 releases in that headlines check the ones that you would like to be sent in this email
"Click here for more headlines" if you would like to see more releases to include in your email
Click "Preview" to review your email draft
Click "Send" to send the email
