Standings

These instructions for updating this component refer to websites on our Themes 2.0 platform. You can check to see if your website is on that platform by reviewing your contract or by logging into your website, click on the Website tab, click on the Setup subtab, click Site profile, and check under Features to see if it says Theme 2.0 with a theme name next to it. This will also indicate which theme your website is on which you can use when looking at the filename list. If you don’t see that text that means your site is not on our Themes 2.0 platform.

Instructions

  1. Login to your website and click on the GameDay tab

  2. Navigate to the sports season

  3. Go through the season setup process. Add all teams in the conference to the Standings file and enter a title for that page

  4. Repeat Step 3 for each sport with standings

  5. Once completed click on the Website tab

  6. Navigate to the navbar-standings file in the root directory and click edit content

  7. Adjust the season part of the URL in the Target URL field to the new season you want to display. For example, if it’s currently showing /sports/mbkb/2022-23/standings for men’s basketball you can update it to show the 2023-24 standings by changing 2022-23 to 2023-24. The rest of the Target URL will remain the same. If there is additional text after the word “standings” that also needs to remain in the Target URL as that is a param that controls the display of that component.

  8. Repeat Step 7 to make this change for all sports to update the standings that show within the Standings component to the new season.
