Marking a game as a forfeit

Instructions

  1. Go to the GameDay tab

  2. Navigate to the season where the game is located

  3. Click on the Schedule tab

  4. Click Edit next to the game

  5. Click the box next to Forfeit Visitor or Forfeit Home depending on which team is forfeiting the game

  6. Change the Status of the game to Final

  7. You will also need to adjust the score of the game to give the winning team more goals/points/runs than the forfeiting team. You can do that by putting “1” in the winning team score field and “0” in the forfeiting team score field. This is required for the schedule to recognize the winning and losing teams. It’s not possible for both teams to be listed as forfeiting the game.

  8. To have a game count against the teams' conference record, but not overall record, you will need to adjust the below identifiers:
    - Mark it as a conference game
    - Uncheck the box next to Stats Count

  9. If you want the game to count against the team’s overall record, you will need to keep the box checked for Stats Count

  10. Click Save

This will update the status of the game to Final- Forfeit Away or Final- Forfeit Home depending on which team you selected as the forfeiting team.
