Featuring Videos to Headlines

If you want a video to appear in a story rotator or in a video playlist, you will need to feature the video file to the appropriate headlines:

Instructions

1. Sign in to your site and click on the Website tab

2. Navigate to the appropriate section where your video is stored

3. Mouse over the video file name and click [edit details]

4. Give the video file a title, date, lead-in and thumbnail image

5. From the "Featured to headlines" drop down menu, select the appropriate headlines by searching for a key term. Click the "Add" button once you select a headlines file to connect the video to it.
   
   Possible headlines include:

   • /landing/headlines-featured - home page story rotator

   • /sports/SPORT/headlines-featured - sport page story rotator

   • /video/index - video playlist

6. If you don’t have a video section created on the website you can create it by following the instructions here. To create a Headlines file within that video section follow the instructions here.

7. Click “Save changes”
