Cropping an image that is already uploaded to the website

Sign in to your site and click on the Website tab

Navigate to the appropriate section where the image is located

Click on the name of the image

Click the [crop] link

From the Image Dimension drop down menu, select the cropping tool you wish to use and then click Change. If the image you are attempting to crop is smaller than the dimensions of the cropping tool, that tool will not show in the drop down menu. If you would like additional cropping dimensions added to the website you can do so by contacting our Support Team here.

Click the “Change” button

Drag and expand the white box around the portion of the image you would like to crop

Click “Crop” at the bottom

Click “Save new image”
Note: If you would like to change the cropping, click “Adjust Cropping” to make your changes -
A new image will be created with the new cropped dimensions. Feature this image to the appropriate thumbnail, navbar-image, headlines, etc.
NOTE: When editing a release and selecting a thumbnail image, you’ll see a “Crop” option there as well:

Sign in to your site and click on the Website tab

Navigate to the file you are connecting the image to and click edit content. This is something you would typically do for banners, sponsor logos, affiliate logos, etc.

Click on the gray file selector box next to the Image URL field

Click the Upload tab

Select the section where you want to upload the image in the drop down menu

Select the file from your computer and then click Upload

Click the Crop button

From the Image Dimension drop down menu, select the cropping tool you wish to use and then click Change. If the image you are attempting to crop is smaller than the dimensions of the cropping tool, that tool will not show in the drop down menu. If you would like additional cropping dimensions added to the website you can do so by contacting our Support Team here.

Drag and expand the white box around the portion of the image you would like to crop

Click “Crop” at the bottom

Change the page name as needed if you want to remove the crop tool name from the filename

Click Save new image at the bottom of the window

You will see the image connected in the Image URL field. Click Save Changes to save the file.
