Video: YouTube hosted
You can embed a video from YouTube on a page on your website by following these instructions:
Instructions
Click on the Website tab
Navigate to the section where you want to store the video (ex: /video, /sports/bsb/2023-24/videos)
Click [add here] to the right under Options
From the “Content type” drop down menu, select Video: YouTube hosted
Click “Continue”
Copy and paste the URL of the YouTube video into the Link field
Click “Save changes” to upload the video to the website. You can edit the page name, title, lead-in by following the instructions below:
Navigate to where the video is stored and click edit details
Add a “name”. This should be short and sweet. Most users like to include a few description words and the date.
Give the video a date, title, lead-in and thumbnail image. If YouTube knows this information, it will automatically populate these fields.
If you would like this video to appear in a story rotator or in a video playlist, select the appropriate headlines from the "Featured in headlines" drop down menu, then click Add. Some examples below:
/landing/headlines-featured - Home page story rotator
/sports/SPORT/headlines-featured - Sport page story rotator
/videos/index - Video playlist
Click the “Continue” button
You can also add these videos through the GameDay tab by following these instructions:
Click on the GameDay tab
Navigate to the season where you want to upload the video either by clicking on a season from the current season list or click View all seasons
Click on the Videos tab
Click Add YouTube video
Copy and paste the URL of the YouTube video into the Link field
Enter the Title for the video
If you would like this video to appear in a story rotator or in a video playlist, select the appropriate headlines from the "Featured in headlines" drop down menu, then click Add. Some examples below:

Click “Save changes” to upload the video to the website.
If you need to edit any of this information go back to the Videos tab and click Edit underneath the video
