Article options
This page contains information regarding options you have for customizing the display of articles on your website.
You can customize your release in two different ways:
Apply a change to every articles on your site. To do this you would want to edit the main options file: /options
Apply a change to articles within certain sports. To do this you would edit the sport specific options file: /sports/SPORT/options. For example to edit the article options for men’s basketball you would go to: /sports/mbkb/options
To add new release options, click edit content on the appropriate options file, click the Add button at the top, then click add next to the option you want to add. From the editing screen, you can click Remove next to an option to remove it or use the selector within the option to choose your setting for that option (true/false, on/off, etc.)

In the backend of some older sites you may find the options file in the Design subtab instead of the Content subtab.
Some available options include:
Article view: banner score
Shows the line score at the top of recaps that are related to the same event. This is available for game recaps where a box score is connected to a article.
Article view: headline style
Toggle between options to change the format of your headline in articles. You can choose to have from four different options for the headline:
Heading size 1 (h1)
Article view: infinite scroll
When set to true, articles will continuously scroll through previous articles in that News Rotator or News page. This allows visitors to quickly read through other articles connected to those files without having to click off of that page. You can view an example of this functionality on this page.
Article view: layout style
Toggle between options to change the format of your layout in articles that have box scores connected to them. These layouts will change the display of the thumbnail image, location of the text within the body of the article, and location of stats and box score information within game recaps. There are four different layout styles to choose from:
Article view: show box score
Shows the box score at the top of the article when the article is linked a networked event. Disable this option to hide the box score within the article.
Article view: show caption
Shows caption on the thumbnail connected to articles. Disable this option to hide the caption connected to thumbnail images.
Article view: show date
The date a article was published shows in articles by default. Disable this option to hide the date.
Article view: thumbnail width
This option lets you manually set the width of thumbnail images within articles. By default displays the image at the size determined by the layout style for the article.
